Prince Ernst August of Hanover (born 1983) : ウィキペディア英語版
Prince Ernest Augustus of Hanover (born 1983)

Prince Ernst August of Hanover, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg (legal name in (ドイツ語:Ernst August Prinz von Hannover Herzog zu Braunschweig und Lüneburg Königlicher Prinz von Großbritannien und Irland)〔In Germany, royal and noble titles were abolished in 1919, thereafter being legally borne as surnames.〕〔(Ernst August im HAZ-Interview In der Prinzenrolle ) - "Unter Nachname steht im Pass „Prinz von Hannover Herzog zu Braunschweig und Lüneburg Königlicher Prinz von Großbritannien und Irland“."]〕 christened as ''Ernst August Andreas Philipp Constantin Maximilian Rolf Stephan Ludwig Rudolph''; born 19 July 1983) is the elder son and heir apparent of Prince Ernst August of Hanover (pretender of the House of Hanover and the House of Welf) and his former wife Chantal Hochuli.〔Opfell, Olga S. "H.R.H. Ernst August, Prince of Hanover Duke of Brunswick and Luneburg Royal House of Hanover (House of Guelph)," Royalty Who Waits: The 21 Heads of Formerly Regnant Houses of Europe. Jefferson: McFarland & Company, Inc., Publishers, 2001. 42-50.〕
==Life==
Ernst August was born in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony. He has a younger brother Christian and a half-sister Alexandra. Ernst August is a male line descendent of George III of Great Britain and a descendent through the female line of Queen Victoria. He is in the line of succession to the British throne.
Ernst August was christened on 15 October 1983 at Marienburg Castle. The prince's godparents are Prince Andreas of Leiningen, Philipp-Ernst, Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe, Felipe, Prince of Asturias, Constantine II of Greece, Maximilian, Margrave of Baden, Rolf Sachs, Stephan von Watzdorf, Prince Ludwig Rudolph of Hanover, and Princess Welf Henry of Hanover.
Ernst August attended Malvern College. He studied in New York and lives in London, working in the banking business.〔(The Hannover Brothers )〕
In 2004, his father signed over to him the German property of the Royal House of Hanover, including Marienburg Castle (Hanover). After the sale of his nearby Calenberg manor house in 2010, the young prince is now using the ''Princely House'' (Fürstenhaus) at Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover as his private residence when in Germany. The elaborate museum in this small palace, built by King George I of Great Britain in 1720, has recently been closed. During the past few years, the hereditary prince has continuously resumed more representation duties〔( For example: New tourism website marks 300th Anniversary of Hanoverian accession to the thrones of Britain and Ireland )〕 in the State of Lower Saxony, large parts of which once formed the Kingdom of Hanover and the Duchy of Brunswick. The prince is also managing the Austrian property owned by the House of Hanover since it went into exile at Gmunden, Austria, after its dethronement in the Kingdom of Hanover in 1866.
